1. Log Files & Technical Information

Tress Atlas follows standard procedure for using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information to ensure site stability and security.

2. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Tress Atlas uses cookies. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other technical information.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising (Mandatory Disclosure)

Google is one of the third-party vendors on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to https://tressatlas.com and other sites on the internet.

  • Third-Party Vendors: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites on the Internet.
  • Personalized Advertising: Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Opt-Out Choices: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s official Ads Settings. Alternatively, visitors can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative or www.aboutads.info.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Tress Atlas, which are sent directly to users’ browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note: Tress Atlas has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

4. Google Consent Mode v2 & Cookie Preferences

We have integrated Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure granular control over user privacy. By default, marketing and advertising storage is set to denied until explicit user consent is recorded in applicable jurisdictions. You can change or update your cookie choices at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings button located in the footer of every page on our website.
